In order to ensure that you have an enjoyable round of golf at the Witbank Golf Club, we would like to draw your attention to some of the rules and regulations governing play and conduct on the course at all times.
Golfers are requested to dress conservatively within the guidelines laid down by the Witbank Golf Club. Only tailored shorts (no drawstrings) are allowed. Ankle length socks must be golf socks, and secret socks are not permitted.
Dress in the clubhouse, bar area and conference centre is smart casual. All offenders will be asked to change if they do not comply with this code, and failure to do, so will result in the offender being asked to leave the club’s premises.

Speed of Play
It is the duty of every golfer to keep up with the match in front of them, and NOT just ahead of the one behind. If a game fails to keep its pace on the course and loses more than one clear hole on the players in front, it MUST
request the game following to pass, and the game following must play through if by doing so the speed on the course can be improved.
Course marshals are on duty to monitor the speed of play. If a group loses more than one clear hole on the players in front, the group would be asked by the Course Marshals to improve their speed of play. If the
group still fails to catch up with the players in front after repeated warnings by the Course Marshals, the said group may be asked by the Course Marshals to skip one hole so as to keep their place on the course.
